1. Who we are

We Fit Any Kitchen is a trading name of JH Kitchens & Renovations Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17084166, whose registered office is 13a Pelham Street, Ilkeston, Derbyshire, England, DE7 8AR.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide what information is collected and what happens to it.

If you have any questions about this policy, or about how we handle your information, contact us at contact@wefitanykitchen.com.

2. What we collect

When you use the instant quote tool

  • The kitchen quote document you upload — a PDF or photograph
  • The information we read from that document automatically: the supplier's name, the number of units, prices, dates, and any other text it contains
  • Your answers to the qualifying questions about your kitchen
  • The estimate we calculate for you

When you ask us to send you your estimate

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • Your postcode

Automatically, whenever you use the site

  • Your IP address
  • Your browser type and version
  • A session identifier that keeps track of your progress
  • Which steps of the quote process you reached, and when

We do not use analytics software, advertising tags, or tracking pixels. We do not track you across other websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have weighed our reasons against your rights and concluded that our use of your information is what you would reasonably expect when asking a kitchen fitting company for a price.

Marketing. We will only send you marketing emails if you have specifically ticked the marketing consent box when requesting your estimate. Agreeing to us contacting you about your estimate is not the same as agreeing to marketing, and we treat them separately.

You can withdraw marketing consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by emailing contact@wefitanykitchen.com. Withdrawing it will not stop us contacting you about an estimate, survey or job you have asked us about.

4. The document you upload

The quote you upload will usually have been produced by another company — for example Howdens, Wickes or B&Q. It may show your name, your address, and details of what you have ordered.

  • We use it only to read the unit count, prices and supplier so we can calculate a fitting estimate.
  • The file is stored on our server and automatically deleted after 30 days.
  • The text read from it is kept for as long as we keep your enquiry record — see section 5 — because it is the basis of the estimate we gave you.
  • We do not send it to the supplier who produced it. We are independent and are not affiliated with any kitchen supplier.

6. Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We never share it for anyone else's marketing.

We share it with:

  • NSB Services Ltd, trading as Bloobo — who built and maintain this website and its database on our behalf, and who provide our web hosting. Registered in England and Wales. They act only on our written instructions under a data processing agreement.
  • Hostinger International Ltd — the underlying hosting provider, whose servers hold the website and database. Registered in Cyprus, operating from Lithuania.
  • Microsoft — who provide our email service, through which your estimate and any correspondence is sent. Our Microsoft tenant is located in the United Kingdom.
  • Our fitters — where a fitter is carrying out or quoting for work at your property, we give them your name, address and phone number so they can contact you and do the job. They may be employed by us or self-employed.

We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where we need to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim.

International transfers. Some of our providers are based in the European Economic Area. The UK Government has decided that the EEA provides an adequate level of protection for personal data, so no additional safeguards are required. Where information is transferred outside the UK and the EEA, we rely on the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to ensure it receives equivalent protection.

7. Cookies

We use one cookie. It is a session cookie that remembers your progress through the quote process so you don't lose your answers when moving between steps.

It is deleted when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, we are not required to ask your consent to set it.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, so we do not show a cookie banner.

Our website loads its styling and layout files from jsDelivr, a content delivery network. As with loading any web page, jsDelivr receives your IP address. It does not receive any information you enter on the site.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access — get a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Rectification — have inaccurate information corrected
  • Erasure — ask us to delete your information
  • Restriction — ask us to pause using your information while a query is resolved
  • Portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format
  • Object — object to us using your information on the basis of legitimate interests, including for direct marketing
  • Withdraw consent — where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time

To exercise any of these, email contact@wefitanykitchen.com. We will respond within one month. We may ask you to confirm your identity first, so that we don't give your information to someone else.

There is no charge, unless a request is clearly unfounded or excessive.

Where the law requires us to keep certain records — for example accounting records for work we carried out — we may not be able to delete everything. If that happens we will tell you what we have kept and why.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first at contact@wefitanykitchen.com so we have the chance to put it right.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office:

We protect your information with encryption across the whole website, secure password storage for staff accounts, access controls on our administration system, and a record of changes made to customer records. Uploaded documents are stored where they cannot be reached directly from the internet.

No system is completely secure. If a breach happens that is likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will report it to the Information Commissioner's Office within 72 hours and tell you directly where the risk to you is high.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Where a change significantly affects how we use information you have already given us, we will contact you directly to tell you.
